SCHOOL COUNCILSchool Council 2023 -2024
Our school council represents the voices of the children at Holy Trinity. They give the children the chance to make their voices and opinions heard and feel like they are contributing to the school community. They also discuss important topics within school, make some decisions and even implement their own ideas. The members of our school council meet to discuss issues that matter to them and the children at Holy Trinity. They meet with the school council leader, Mrs Say, and work together to come up with new ideas to make Holy Trinity a wonderful place for all.
The school council also help to promote our school’s Christian values throughout the school, through encouraging children in all classes to remember the values and discuss how they can demonstrate these in their every day lives. Our Christian values are courage, perseverance, respect, hope, truthfulness and compassion. The school council provide reminders to others about our values and demonstrate these themselves as representatives of our school.
This Term
In this Spring Term, school council are discussing how we may become greener as a school and as such are putting together plans to implement small changes that make a big difference.
They are also helping to plan and implement a day celebrating different cultures and countries, promoting tolerance and acceptance within our community.
When do we meet?
School council meet every other Thursday at lunch time, with a full school council including other representatives meeting once per half term.
The Friendship Stop
Here is the Friendship Stop. It is just outside Mrs Baron's classroom on the KS2 playground.
If you are bored, upset or need someone to play with please use the stop and we will come and talk to you.
